These little cute Valentine’s Day Mailboxes from Walmart are not only adorable but so affordable because they are only $0.98 each! If you have a laser machine, specifically Xtool F1Ultra, here are the quick engraving instructions.
Place your mini mailbox in the middle of your baseplate and turn on your laser.
From your computer open the Xtool Creative Space software and create a new project.
Click on the Text icon on the right side and type out your text. Change the size and the font (d0n’t forget to weld the text together if you have any overlapping letters).
On the top bar, click on the ruler to measure the thickness of your mailbox.
Click on the camera icon to take a picture of the baseplate.
Move your engraving to the desired position.
From the menu on the right hand side choose “Engrave”, BL with 80% power, 1500 mm/s, 1 pass, 240 lines per cm. In the advanced settings menu select 45 degree engraving angle and check off the Cross hatch.
Click on “Framing” button on the right side of screen and check the framing position on the mailbox.
If correct, click “Framing” off and click process.
Once the laser machine is done, go back to the computer click done.
From the settings area on the right side, change the laser type to Fiber IR and power to 50% leaving all other setting same as before.
Click process and engrave your mailbox.
When your machine is finished, you are done! All you have left to do is wipe it off, fill it with candy and your gift is ready!
